California Contractors License Bonds Only

Construction Services Insurance Agency (CSIA)
CSIA is California's largest producer of contractor's license bonds. In business since 1979, over 50,000 contractors have made CSIA the leader in the industry.
Unfortunately, Economy Bonds does not sell license bonds for Roofers (C-39) and Swimming Pool (C-53) contractors, which is why we recommend CSIA to our clients and potential clients that have this need. CSIA can also help our clients that have jobs that call for contract bonds (bid, performance and payment bonds).

While general liability insurance is not mandated by law, it is strongly recommended by the CSLB:

The Board cautions you to evaluate the risk to your family and property when you hire a contractor who is not insured.
